Siran village is 5km from the Pepieux leisure lake for swimming, boating and wind surfing. A short drive to the north east brings you to the beautiful fortified citadel of Minerve with its ramparts and deep canyons. Alternatively, a short drive south will bring you to the tree lined banks of the Canal du Midi. A 30 to 45 minute drive will take you to the French Mediterranean coast & the excellent beaches of Narbonne, Gruissan & Valras.
The walled city of Carcassonne with its narrow streets, museums, bars & restaurants is just 30 minutes away by car. Just outside the city is Carcassonne Plage, a man made beach on a fresh water lake ideal for a family day out.
